I don't, but I also don't have an unrealistic expectation of how they should perform.

why in the frick should a cop take that chance that he will take out the suspect before he can shoot ...this isn't the wild west

Because the officer had no way to know if he was armed , and while not complying, he wasnt displaying much aggression, and advancing on the officer, I think if he shot any earlier he would getting charged.

You don't have to ACTUALLY know. If that were the case we would have A LOT MORE dead cops.

The man had his hand in his pocket.

The cop REPEATEDLY asked, practically begged him to take his hand out.

REPEATEDLY, Calvin not only said no but asked the cop several times, "Are you ready?".

Come the frick on. It was perfectly reasonable for the officer to believe his life and the lives of his fellow officers were in danger.

In my opinion he waited a little too long. Couldn't really tell, but it seemed as if Calvin was trying to come around the vehicle due to the movements of the officer. Luckily he did have the vehicle for cover. Screw that guy!

Yeah it was obvious Calvin was trying to avoid the flashlight and to get a clearer shot at the officer.

Calvin may have wanted to die, but he sure did act like he didn't give a frick if he took an officer with him.

fricking idiot. Cop gave him every opportunity to settle it peacefully. Seemed like a chill guy and a great cop.

I watched a video the other day of a cop allowing the guy to get his gun out of the truck and then ended up dead. I am not a cop but I would never give up the upper hand. Google Andrew Brannan shooting and tell me what you think

Dude you're reaching so hard here. The cop handled it 100% perfectly. Holding his hand in his pocket asking are you ready isn't a reason to get shot. Cop had his gun trained on him the entire time and once the gun was pulled, he fired. He didn't "wait too long," he did his fricking job.

Completely different. That guy was brand new on the job and was too hesitant. This video shows a cop who is 100% in control, not hesitant.
