Laury Joseph (Whitey) Bordelon, 86, of Myrtle Beach, SC, (where he lived with his eldest son, Kyle and his family), formerly of Baton Rouge La., passed away in Florida on November 25, 2018 while visiting his youngest son, Page. Whitey was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War from 1951-1955 as a 14th Ranger in the Airborne Infantry as a paratrooper. His reverence for life was his hallmark and his passion was giving his all for his grandchildren. He was also a kind, caring father to all of his children and their spouses whom he all loved unconditionally Being a worthy model of faith among all Christians was the upmost importance in his daily life. He attended Louisiana State University and was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge before retiring to Sevierville, TN. in 1994. He enjoyed the countryside of Tennessee with all the unique golf courses. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Baudin Bordelon....
