No license and no insurance and drunk?

Obviously laws don't matter to her. Give her the max

This is completely shocking since the first 4 convictions.

Major difference between a DWI arrest and a DWI conviction

Could be sensationalist reporting.

This^^^^^^^^^

The "priviledge" is having a great lawyer. That is usually a class privilege as lawyers only care about green.

I'm not sure that I agree with this. The story was started by the victims girlfriend. It is obviously slanted to who broke the story. I'm not sure if that slant is "sensationalist" though.

This woman is clearly evil, but I'm not buying the whole narrative that the justice system failed or is broken. She got arrested for DUI several times, but the most recent arrest was 8 years ago. You can't throw people into prison 8 years for DUI. The logistics just don't work. And no, you can't execute people either, even if a drunk ran over your best friend's plumber's Meemaw's big toe one time and she's never been the same.

Why on earth would they release that woman? She seems certain to get behind the wheel again and kill or maim someone.

I’ve gotten 5 DWIs:
Ages 16, 18, 21, 25, 27.
Needless to say I drank heavily in my younger years and then some.
I am now 36 with a business, coach youth sports, volunteer in community, etc.
Served combined 36 days in jail, rehab, sober living house for 4 months.
I am middle class, white, educated.
Hired lawyer for last DWI.

If I were black, would the sentencing be the same? Highly doubtful.

Nope, everyone rants about a mask and protecting granny, but looks the other way about drunk driving and killing people.
