If the dog had been on a leash it would be alive, the owner is at fault. It’s a shame the kids had to see it.

Maybe what you actually think is that all “aggressive” dogs should be euthanized? Which I would agree with & that includes this dog bc it’s not properly trained or on a leash.

This thread is actually a perfect example for that. What if the tables were turned & this cop had a k-9 that uncontrollably ran up to those kids & was aggressively barking at them?
Would it be wrong for the parent to shoot that dog?
Problem is that would never happen. Police K-9s are usually some of the most aggressive breeds, but they are properly trained

I can’t believe people are defending this pussy arse cop in here. What a complete bitch. The dog is protecting his yard. Don’t intrude on peoples private property and you won’t have to worry about their dogs you tyranny enforcing pussy

The dog did the equivalent of a human sprinting at someone saying “IM GOING TO KILL YOU frickER” while holding knives. Yet, some are defending it because it’s a “puppy wuppy little fur baby

Man, frick that video. I shouldn't have watched that. I'd have a hard time not doing the same thing to the cop. Have a hard time seeing how deadly force is warranted on the dog based on that video.

Did you even watch the video or are you that stupid?? You think the cop HAD to shoot that dog to get out of his “life threatening” situation? The family was yelling at the dog. There was a short interaction where the dog actually backs up from the cop before shooting.
