I just have to ask some of you if you've had the same thing happen?

They drive 50mph down a perfectly good Hwy30/Nicholson when the speed limit is 55mph, then when it turns 45mph they go 55mph.

I can't understand this and it has been aggravating me for the past few months.

That and people honking at me when the light turns green when there are clearly two cars in front of me. What am I supposed to to do? Ram the car in front of me?
Dude the other day on Bluebonnet did just that to me and as he passed by me I could see him mouthing "a-hole".

Threw my hands up in the air at him and almost went after him, but cooler heads prevailed and I just let it go. How was I the a-hole here?

BTW, he had an old beatup Nissan truck that seemed it was torn up like that because of his poor decisions.

There is no reasoning with Louisiana drivers

Same people that take 5 minutes to pass an 18 wheeler. Then move to the right lane and speed up to 80

I largely blame cell phones

The I-10 corridor through Baton Rouge has to be one of the highest concentrations of stupid people per capita in the world.

Airline is the worst road for this, everyone either drives 45 or 80

You need to move.

I don't think this has ever happened to me.

Maybe he wanted you to honk at the guy in front of you. There are some times the 2nd driver just sits there and doesn't honk at the 1st.

Why did he look at me and call me a a-hole then? Reading comprehension not one of your strong suits?

My complaint is about people who will slow to almost a stop to turn left when there is a freaking turn lane the entire length of the road we are on for your dumb butt to get into to make the slow down and turn, yet you insist on slowing and blocking the traffic in the normal lanes because you are too dumb to use the lane specifically for turning.

That's a really good point, but the damn traffic light just turned green and everyone was starting to move.

He was an old scraggly looking dude, starting to think he was a drunk. That would explain his actions and the condition of his truck, busted up on all four sides.

I'm sure this happens in Baton Rouge, too, but people who stop short of the white line at the traffic signal (or worse, those who stop way short then creep up to it), are really starting to piss me off.

I'm talking one or two car-lengths short. Sometimes they won't trigger the traffic sensor, they've stopped so far back.

I stop under the overpass when it’s hot AF outside so I can enjoy the shade. It helps keep my car cooler and improves the gas mileage by not having to run the AC as much.

He really does just seem like an a-hole. I am driving down Hwy 30 right now and just flipped someone off in case it was ‘WhyMan.’

Sorry. You were collateral damage. It was a preemptive move to ensure WhyMan knows he’s the a-hole on the road.
