That's the thing, he didn't tell them why he turned his back on them or went to his car. All they know is he's parked his car to stop traffic and he's acting irrationally, not a huge jump to think he might be dangerous.
So, you shoot and kill him?
That is insane.

My apologies, I just saw this argument taking a similar trajectory. When we talk about these cases, we need to discuss each on its own merits. I think we both want police reform, but I'm not willing to make up narratives to vilify police in order to get it.
I don't think that every time a white cop shoots a black man it is because of racism. But, when there are obvious problems, if we don't address them, then we make it all look like racism.
The Tulsa situation was horrible. If we can't say that, then we just make things worse.

It's bad police work, but it's not insane. That's a bit of a leap.
Really, neither side of this argument can even budge a little bit and see how the other side might have a point?

I am NOT in favor of police officers with drawn guns shooting and killing a man with his hands up in the air. No. I am thinking about my children. My self. My wife. Anyone I know who is in a traffic stop with a cop. This is not how it is supposed to go.
I'm not budging on that. There has to be another way. If cops can shoot and kill a man because they think he might have a gun, then we are all unsafe. She is a "drug expert" and discerned he was impaired from PCP. Maybe he was not processing what she was saying? Maybe he was trying to comply? Maybe that is why he had his hands up but got confused about their commands?
Shooting and killing him ends it all. His life is over. They had 3 cops with weapons drawn 10 feet from him. There was no way he was going to retrieve a gun, aim it, and fire it before they all shot him 15 times. Impossible. How do they not have that awareness?

He also said that the car was about to explode
Witness's on the scene said they saw him smoking something
The victim ignored police orders
The victim wouldn't tell the police his name
The victim was acting erratically
The victim kept walking towards his car that was about to explode despite the police ordering to to stand still
The victim walked towards his car that was about to explode and showed evidence that he was either reaching into the window or reaching to open the door
The victim was tazed then shot and killed because he made poor decisions.

only one shot him yet you lump them all together as being bad cops

We've all agreed with you on this point to a certain extent but you have no idea what happened prior to the video and are basing your opinion off partial information. Why not wait to pass judgment until all information is released? I'm guessing she will ultimately be charged but let that play out. Don't let emotion control you, use reason.
