And surely you understand why the police actually stopped this idiot?
Yeah, I'll concede that depending on the actions of them while drivings, the officers could have reasonable suspicion to stop them.
BUT

it's dark, you're circling a crime scene and then you start the whole lawyer bit..."I don't have to answer questions."
It's improper conduct.
No, just no.

Why doesn't this kind of thing piss you people off? 20 pages of defending punk because it's legal, not once does it seem bother you
b/c "the punk" should be defended, Was he being obnoxious? yeah. Does he do this to cops a lot? Seems like it since the other one knew his name. Should the officer have acted how he did? Nope.

Not even close to the same, you have been making ridiculous analogies like this all thread (see back like 10 pages when you compared cops to parents)

If I was a cop, I'd get weary of this legal nonsense because I can't do my job effectively.
The "legal nonsense" is what sets this country apart, and FTR I did my job effectively when I was a LEO, even when people recorded me and tried to get under my skin. Why? Because you're paid to be a professional.

I just expect more from people
I guess you quit because you found a better job?

Citizens that act immature deserve a good parenting analogy.
Lack of parenting is what is crippling this country.

I usually dont side with cops, but this a-hole deserved to be called on his shite.

I love cop threads on the OT

Which people? There were two very immature people in that video.

Why is everyone so intent on picking a side? Both were very stupid and immature.
The third cop seemed to be a level-headed person.

He pulled him over for no legal reason....
The guy was intentionally acting suspicious so he could get pulled over and troll the cops. If I were and saw someone continually following me and circling a given area, Id probably stop and ask him whats up too.
What happened is EXACTLY what the little shite wanted to happen and I dont blame the cop for losing his cool. Besides, the cop did nothing to infringe upon his right. He didnt so much as touch him, he didnt try and detain him, he simply asked him what he was doing following him around and the guy acted like a total arse.

I'm surprised with 2 law schools in br that no young, aspiring law student hasn't tried this in br

Because if anyone else in the whole wide world was treated by another human being like that, we wouldnt blame them one bit for losing their cool and telling the other party what an arse they were being. But because its a cop, we expect them to just sit there and take it from little shits like this.
As long as the cop isnt trampling on someone's rights, I have no issue with assholes being treated like assholes. Treat others with respect, including cops, and it almost always works out fine. Yes there are cops who will excede their authority even if you are perfectly cordial, but Ive always treated police officers with respect and been treated kindly in return.

Careful Roger, you are making too much sense for this OT group...prepare for another 20 pages because Freedom is awesome and Cops can't be trusted ...because they have guns and reputations for being fat and aggressive.
I don't know why but I just wanted to argue about something today... I need to go back to being productive... this place kills all productivity

So professionalism means nothing to you. The second officer knew what was up.
Contrast with this guy

If I saw someone circling my house and videotaping me while doing yardwork, I'd either confront them or call the police depending on the circumstances. It does feel threatening to have someone do that, and the cops were justified IMO stopping them and just asking what they were doing because it was obviously intentionally suspicious behavior.
At the start of the encounter, the cop is perfectly calm and just asking why he was doing what he was doing. He made no bones about why he stopped him and didnt try to "get him".

Could he have kept calm? Absolutely, but while I prefer my child walk away from a bully Im not gonna be too upset when they are sent to the principles office for standing up to the them.

If my wife and I drive around town naked, are we in violation of any laws?
If we have sex in a parked car in view of others, are we in violation of any laws?
I can do those at home, should I expect the same privacy in my car?
I knew you were stupid, but you've gone full blown dumbass
quote:
"Of course I still play the congas naked," the married father of three said to GQ. "I just close the windows."
McConaughey was arrested in 1999 in his Austin, Texas home for "disturbing the peace" by dancing around naked while he played the drums.
So, no, you cant do that in your home, or in your car
And clearly you also don't know that the courts hold different views on what can be scene by the public, as in McConaugheys case, and what can be recorded via audio. Which also makes your constant illogical blabbering about red light and intersection cameras idiotic. They are not recording your conversations, dipshit
And theres also a ton of debate about intersection cameras and due process, so that's not even settled law

That's scary you made that analogy referring to police.

Was this kid arrested? Surly as angry as the officer was, had the kid actually broken any law, he would have been arrested.
The only thing that kept that dude from getting arrested was the other cop.
