So, why did the angry cop not arrest the punk for breaking the law?
Obviously, he wasnt thinking clearly
He was going down his checklist, and couldn't find the dog to shoot.

Where is the video?
Only audio in the OP?

He has no such legal responsibility.
However, you can certainly be arrested for interfering with a law enforcement investigation. There is no doubt about that fact.

Because of negative propaganda..
Agreed, has nothing to do with the actions of the cops themselves. Like this cop, nothing wrong with the way he screamed and threatened this kid, in fact we would not know about except for the propaganda fueled by the recording.

what SHOULD a cop do when someone is doing something legal?
That is the point you keep missing. Legal vs. Illegal activities. Cops are NOT supposed to harass, intimidate or threaten people that are acting legally. Can you not agree?

The real question is, do you support the actions of this kid? yes or no? Courageous or stupid?
forget the legal question... Was it right in your view to do what he was doing by refusing to answer the policemen's questions?
I will gladly answer if you answer the same question about the cops behavior.

Was this kid arrested? Surly as angry as the officer was, had the kid actually broken any law, he would have been arrested.

He should have shot that fat bastard!

Ok. 20 pages of the same shite.
Here's some cliffs.
Group 1: Comply with cops, even if what you are doing is not illegal, b/c there might be consequences. Yada, yada, and name calling.
(Translation - I admit cops can intimidate citizens that have not broken any laws b/c they are used to citizens not knowing their rights. Therefore, I just avoid the situation.)
Group 2: The citizen broke no laws. The cop is on his usual power trip and doesn't like that the citizen isn't bending to his will. Yada, yada, and it's not illegal.
(Translation - Cops need to learn that citizens have rights whether the citizen knows them or not, but they are used to pushing citizens to get information. So, they don't like it when someone calls them out on it.)
Summary: Some cops are low IQ douchebags that power trip on anyone that annoys them.

The cop assaulted the guy by throwing his papers in his face and yelling in the guy's face, all in full view of another law enforcement officer who did nothing.
Holy shite! What kind of sissy arse society have we become? For the love of Mike, charges filed?!?! What a trifling thing to say.
You should be as ashamed of your self as your daddy must be.

I hope those dipshits in the car got into a terrible wreck after they drove away.

I updated the OP
here is the video
first time I got to watch it
It was exactly how I visualized it in the audio version.
The kid is punk, end of story.. I thought the officer handled it well until the people in the car started arguing like 8 years olds "Why, why why why are you stopping us?" The driver's tone of voice was confrontational from the very beginning.
duh why do you think you got pulled over?
They were challenging the officer and I just disagree with this in this situation.

You love cops, I get that.
I love freedom and liberty and am very judgmental of those that have the authority and power to deprive me of them. Those people need to have much more going on than some punk kid with a camera. Clearly the hothead officer in this case does not. He should not have the power to imprison and kill(look how often cops are prosecuted for killing someone by "mistake") the citizens of this great nation with his lack of professionalism and weak emotions.
I am out.

And surely you understand why the police actually stopped this idiot?
he refused to answer the basic question.. "Why are you following us, you have circled 5 times"
That's not cool.. park your freaking car, get out and watch from a safe distance.
it's dark, you're circling a crime scene and then you start the whole lawyer bit..."I don't have to answer questions."
It's improper conduct.
Why doesn't this kind of thing piss you people off? 20 pages of defending punk because it's legal, not once does it seem bother you
Would you allow your teen to challenge a teacher's authority? Ok for your neighbor's kid?
If the teacher ask the teen to move chairs for whatever reason, do you allow your child to bust out a smart phone and begin the "I don't have to do that, you can talk to my lawyer".
it's stupid nonsense like this is why teachers are leaving the profession.
If I was a cop, I'd get weary of this legal nonsense because I can't do my job effectively.
