He has that right....just reread what I quoted until you get it.

Stupidity has consequences.
And those consequences do not allow cops to break the law and assault you.

My issue is this watchdog guy is just a young punk trying jack with Police. That's clear and just wrong, unwise and shouldn't be tolerated or "supported" behind the mask of "it's legal" to do so.
Actually, thats exactly why it should be allowed...BECAUSE IT'S LEGAL.

so the point here is that this young adult is just trying to ruffle jimmies and that's just not cool in my book. It's blatant disrespect.
cops do this all the time, no? many do not respect most LEO's

It's just dumb to disrespect law enforcement officers
Not illegal. Odd, you have nothing to say about cops disrespecting citizens.

Would you rather police come after the fact of a crime and just do paper work or would you rather them prevent crimes?
Where are you going with this argument?
If you don't do suspicious things you won't have issues with police.

Ahhh, I see. You are cool with cops trampling rights and freedoms as long as it prevents future crimes.
Youre a big fan of the Patriot Act?

Continued about my business and not turn into a raging douche becuse my authoritah was disrespected. YMMV of course.

That's because this video isn't about a policemen disrespecting a citizen,it's the other way around is it not?
My experience on this board over cop stories is that people who take your position have had issues with police.
We've all had our own experiences that provide us the lens with which we view the world.
I've not had bad experiences with Police. I've always shown respect and it's always gone well for me in those very few instances.

I give the cop a pass
This is the problem. Cops should not get passes. They carry guns and have the authority to deprive me of my liberty. They should be held to a higher standard. If barney cannot handle the stress, when he clearly knew he was in no danger, then he should not be a cop. That is what this should show his superiors, he is ticking time bomb.

I didn't say that

not necessarily.
I am for citizens being treated fairly and with justice relative to their actions and intentions.
Police have a job to do. Why is this hard to comprehend? It's like you want them handcuffed so they can be slapped for fun.

One is a public servant, the other is not. Please attempt to figure out the context involved with this rather simple concept.

Don't even bother arguing anymore. If you don't agree with the kids making the videos, that means you hate freedom.
Cop was out of line at the end, but he had every right to pull him over of suspicious activity if he really did continuously circle the officers and their crime scene.

They just need to treat this kid like a little brother that follows them around all the time... he's just annoying.
I imagine the 2nd cop will run his plates to get his background. Once he sees he's harmless, just ignore him.
If he wants to waste his time "watchdogging", cool. whatever.
I don't blame the cops for wondering what was going on, but at the same time, I don't blame the kid for knowing his rights and actually using them.
The cops are so used to compliance that they sometimes get annoyed when a citizen knows and uses their rights. This cop just had a little too much Farva in his coffee.
Cops are people too, but getting annoyed and angry doesn't make it ok for cop or citizen to assault.
But that was awesome.

So you tell me, what would happen to you if you did that to a cop, screaming threats, approaching him, making contact?
I have no clue, because my idea of a fun night doesn't involving baiting cops with a video camera.
If you have not clue what would happen to someone approaching a cop screaming and making threats then you are a liar.

The cop had something thrown at him by somebody thats supposed to remain professional?

Wasn't the cop doing his job until he noticed someone continuously circling his crime scene, which is when he pulled over the kid?

He was doing his job and then got so distracted that he stopped doing it. Sounds like a terrible cop to me.

It is not illegal, and as such there is no reason for the police to interfere with him.

He was being distracted by someone who continued to not only follow, but circle them. Sounds like suspicious activity, which would call from him to make contact.
Not saying the kid filming did anything illegal, because he didn't. But saying the cop wasn't doing his job is wrong.
