I'm not sure what this clown is talking about.

He's talking about some other story in Spain or France....

I’m saying this exact story has been out there and circulated through multiple countries by the Chinese. The president of France even released a statement (excerpts above) that officially criticized Chinese diplomats for putting out stories about the elderly being abandoned and left to starve and die in French nursing homes... now there is a story about 17 bodies abandoned in a shed in NJ. It might very well be true, but I’m skeptical because of previous disinformation being spread by the Chinese.

I hope that clears up what I’m saying.

Not trolling. Here is a link to the story about the French govt responding to fake stories soread by Chinese diplomats. It specifically condemns stories of elderly being abandoned.

LINK

quote:

PARIS — The French foreign minister summoned China’s ambassador to France to express his “clear disapproval” of recent comments over how France is dealing with the coronavirus crisis. In a statement Tuesday, Jean-Yves Le Drian said some public remarks from Chinese officials were not in line with the relation of “trust and friendship” between French President Emmanuel Macron and Chinese President Xi Jinping. A long statement in French was released Sunday on the website of China’s embassy to France in an apparent response to criticism from Western media, experts and politicians over China’s handling of the virus outbreak.

quote:

The statement, presented as written by an unnamed Chinese diplomat in Paris, notably stated that caregivers in French nursing homes have “collectively deserted, letting their residents dying from starvation and disease.”

Nobody is saying you are making up whatever random story in Paris you keep referring to.

This incident in NJ is being reported by multiple news outlets, has direct quotes from people involved, and apparently the families received letters from the nursing home about the incident. It's odd that your first impression of it is that the Chinese are spreading rumors and the media is blindly running with them

I already said that your story was neat...

What else do you want us to say?

This thread is about an incident in New Jersey

If you want to discuss what the French gvt says about fake stories made up by the Chinese, go start a thread on the Poli Board

Sadly, a lot of older people don't have anybody keeping close tabs on them.

I saw the place has 700 beds and it sounds like it was overrun with the virus. I'm guessing the facility was just completely overwhelmed with people dying and had nowhere else to temporarily put bodies. Not that it's excusable, I can just see how it would happen.

I disagree. I can see how someone could come up with the idea. But I can't fathom how during the actual execution of the game plan someone didn't say wtf are we doing
