That's kind of the problem in many African countries.
I don't post about religion, it try to criticize other's faith. But evangelical Christians have been going to Africa and spreading anti gay propaganda too these countries, and helping them wrote anti gay laws.
Beyond just pastors, there's a Oklahoma senator named James Inhofe who has gone to Uganda hundreds of times to promote anti gay laws in these countries.
They've basically realized they have lost the battle in America. So they've been going to Africa and are fighting the battle there. And without any opposition, laws like you have in Kenya are the end result.
