We agree on that, started with CHRIST which "Pastor Bob" teaches.

Early church and any church for that matter should be Elder and deacon led, not some pope.
Foolish things like papal infallibility, Marian dogmas, purgatory, indulgences, are still happening today.
To sum it up nicely.
The early church in Acts and the first few centuries was decentralized, elder-led, met in homes, and didn’t hold many doctrines that Rome later defined (papacy, Marian dogmas, purgatory, indulgences, etc.).

please explain
When the Catholic Church went with the College of Cardinals instead of the vote of Bishops for the election of the pope, then it ceased looking like the early church.
Roughly 10th century, but I'd have to dig up my powerpoint.
When the RCC mandated yearly confession at the Fourth Lateran Council, it ceased looking like the early church.
When the RCC forbade the laity from receiving the cup, it ceased looking like the early church.
When the papacy began acting like a monarchy, Rome ceased to look like the apostolic church (11th -14th century development). You're own Vatican admitted this: Full Study

I live my life daily trying to glorify the Lord. Seeking Him. Repenting. Fighting the flesh and my sin.
My sole authority is the bible, not pope jimbo the 3rd or my pastor. You sound foolish.

Not gonna lie, I feel sorry for your fiancé.
Pretty funny watching you trash her beliefs here. Marriage gonna work out really great being unequally yoked.

Ask her to attend some OCIA classes with you to learn about the Catholic Church. It’s very low pressure and I got much more out of it than I expected.

After reading this thread I think your finance may just be learning that you’re an a-hole.
