Woman calls 911, no answer
She made two to 911 and didn’t get an answer. She then called New Orleans Police Department’s (NOPD) non-emergency line twice and, again, wound up getting no answer
Metry sounds better already.

First, South Kenner should consist of nothing but runways. Second, the northern part needs people from other parts of the country to move in and become Kennabravians. Can anyone from there name a single transplant who lives there? Transplants want to live in New Orleans.

What about the Northshore then? The problem isn't the commute, it's the city's aesthetics and trashy residents.
I believe the aesthetics would improve if quality residents were encouraged to move there. It is simply the age old chicken and egg argument and I have no idea how they can fix it. The residents are trashy because the infrastructre and many of the neighborhoods are trashy. If people wnated to live there builders would build new homes and the city would have the tax dollars to make improvements. Perhaps the new VA hospital will help them out. N.O. has very limited housing because most residents don't want to drive across the lake or the river. If the population grows with well earning doctors and nurses they could sprawl to Kenner.

To get raped on property taxes, have horrible gov and law enforcement agencies, and have your tax dollars never go to your area of town?

Still better than the drunk commute. If you make it safely back to kennerbrah you still have to get past the pandas.

The most ideal location to live in all of Nola is in Old Metairie right on the parish line. Minimal commute to anywhere worth a shite but you still pay Jefferson Parish taxes. You get the best of everything.

One of the most ideal, yes.

Except it is very expensive to actually live in Old Metairie- you either have incredibly pricey houses or old crappy houses and not much in between.
The reason Kenner sucks is because no one wants to live out there and commute 30-45 minutes to get into the city. I am trying to get my parents to move closer to the Parish line in Metairie

Not everyone can be rich. Lower class people have to live somewhere. Unfortunately, some of those people are trashy too.
There are nice parts of Kenner but they are isolated.

Isn't that what the Northshore and Westbank are there for?
