Went to the store this morning (yeah Walmart) before hitting the water.

This man was going aisle to aisle berating a little girl, I'd say about 6/7 years old. Very pretty lil girl too. He was around 35, clean cut. And white (before someone asks)

She made the comment that the floor was similar to their house, he in turn bent down and was quite loud in her face saying why it wasn't

It's festered on me bc I didn't say a word. Although getting involved is not too smart. Should I have just said something ?
I've never seen a man do this to his daughter.

I'd get pissed if someone said I had Walmart floors too. Truth hurts

No.

ONLY exception is if he was beating the shite out of her; other than that, no good would come from you saying anything.

Don't worry about other people. Just laugh at how stupid they are.

Yea, that comment is more appropriate for a 17/18 year old girl. 6/7 and a girl that's a complete stranger to you is a little weird.

She could have trouble hearing.

Or she might be fricking stupid.

Either way, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah man. I totally get your emotions. You want to pull the guy aside and tell him rationally where Authoritarian parenting leads, and how fear, shame and humiliation should not be part of any child's life. But you'd just get the old "well it worked for me" response.

Honestly, you would probably piss him off more and he would just take it out on her later. The right choice is to leave it alone unless he is beating the shite out of her.

Amazed posters take a comment about a child being pretty and actual think it's weird. Normal folks wouldn't think nothing of it.

So was he right? Was the floor not like the floor at their house?

Need more details before throwing a father under the bus because of some creeper that

at walmart, listening to him and his

Not your kids. This mentality of "it takes a village" is why this country is where its at. You arent fully aware of all the details of their relationship and their personalities. Dont think because you witnessed a 4 second exchange between a father and his daughter that you now have intimate insight into the inner workings of their familial relations.

In other words.

frick off.

we keep forgetting the age/IQ cum around here, I think my daughter's pretty, she's pushing 30, I think my mom's pretty she's 90(and is on her way home from the LSU-USCe game btw)
