Right, just extreme penis envy which was my point.

LA simply does not have the demographics to EVER become more than a state ranked 40th in most metrics. Too much poverty and not enough people who care to stay here to make it a better place. Not enough hard working honest people. There’s more mooches who would rather suck the tit than work for their own money. Not enough people who would rather clean an area up rather than throw trash on top of the pile of trash. It’s just never going to change. FACT. You can deal with it or get out. Can’t fault people for sticking around and can’t fault people for leaving.

?? Makes no sense. Texas is better in every facet. You seem mad

I’m not mad, Texas is better, in most facets, I agree. It’s like comparing a drunk homeless man, to a clean cut wealthy man, who just happens to be gay. The gay man is better

And it’s not just a black poor people thing. There’s plenty of white people who are just as bad. Maybe not as many but it’s not as far off as people think.

Correct, Texas may have a bigger penis, but it’s still gay

Are you trying to tell us something? It’s 2018, gays are fine now. You’re safe here.

Not being gay, and you will argue this, but to me, food.

I’ve came across way more queers in LA than I have in TX. BR and Nola are gay havens

This. Demographics is destiny. Black populations are on average the most poor, most obese, least educated, and least healthy in the nation. The higher percentage of blacks in one’s state, the worse all of those metrics will typically appear. Louisiana is over 30% black. Texas is like 10%. Texas will thus on average perform much better in all of those metrics which feed into rankings like this. It is no suprise that the states with the highest black populations by percentage (Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama) are consistently ranked near the bottom in rankings like this while states with the lowest black populations (New York, Connecticut, California, Texas, etc) are often ranked near the top:

Whites tend to perform about the same no matter where they are.

The only thing LA wins in is LSU. You can get good food anywhere. Cajun food is best prepared in your kitchen if you know what you’re doing. It’s not rocket science. It was literally created to be simple down home food. Not some complex $50 plate over priced food you get in restaurants.

It's just the one's here are flamboyant about it. In Texas, they are the one's wearing cowboy hats in the city.

THANK YOU. It’s not racist. It’s fact. We are dragged down by our demographics period. They aren’t going anywhere too. In fact, they’re getting larger. There’s more and more of these type of people and less whites that work for a living all over the state.

Correct, I agree and we cook ourselves mostly at my house. I do think Texas has better barbecue, Mexican food I give a slight edge to Texas as I think Louisiana is improving there. Soul food, cajun, and creole are good here though, although I like Mexican above creole cooking. I'm strictly speaking of eating at restaurants though, obviously anybody anywhere can cook something of whatever they want. I'd take going into your average person's home in Louisiana and eating their cooking though over somewhere in Texas, with exception maybe to barbecue.

That started in the 90s. Ellerbe blew up and north bossier used to be cow pastures before the Walmart on airline was built. frick that traffic though.

We moved from Pines Rd. to Benton on Cypress in 96. I remember Airline being pretty much only cow pastures. The traffic is so bad now, backs up sometimes to past Airline Baptist Church.

I’d rather see cowboy hats in the city there than backwoods illiterate idiots with their jeans tucked in their shrimp boots in the cities here. We have these waterboy stereotypes for a reason..
