I've been pulled over and sternly questioned by police in the #7 town.

Oh, and stopped whilst running and told I couldn't run on the road, just the sidewalk. :nana:

Oh, my handyman has been in jail in the #7 town and he liked it because they fed him McDonalds. :nana: :nana:

Connecticut is one of those states that most people think is nothing but middle class and up. There are some absolute hellholes in that state, too.

Hartford is awful. It’s one of the worst cities in America.

No surprise to see four from Fairfield County, CT in the top 25. Some of the houses up there are just downright palaces.

Yep, We are looking in New Canaan right now (not on the list). The home prices are more outrageous than Darian and Westport.

They seem to have something in common.

Greenwich has some mean streets too.

Wish I lived in Highland Park but the property taxes alone are more than my mortgage.

I knew Scarsdale had to be high on the list. It’s like a Rockwell painting that’s 45 min by train from NYC. I went to a party there at the smallest house in the neighborhood which was owned by two very successful docs. Big leagues fo sho.

I expected Cherry Hills Village to be on the list and not that surprised it’s #4. I drive there twice a day. A google map view shows the size of the properties plus the boundaries are very intentional. It’s easy to pump up the average when you don’t allow scrubs.

An HP police officer told me they have a contract with Bubba's. Not bad for jail food.

I live within 10 miles of Southlake, TX.

I roll through there in my Corolla all the time.

St. George would make that list if they would just let it become a city already.

My wife is from NC, actually. You’re definitely right. The prices there are crazy — although nothing compared to Greenwich. That’s an entirely different league.
