Person sitting next to him complained that his fat rolls were all over her.

So they booted him.

I raise a beer to you American Airlines.

SJW's might not like it, but if your arse doesn't safely fit in an airplane seat then you should have to buy 2 seats. Don't like it, then lose weight. Someone next to you shouldn't be uncomfortable just because you love jelly donuts and bacon double cheeseburgers.

I look for this to continue.

Airlines hate their customers to start with, all the seats are full anyway, so it won't hurt them to actually enforce the rules.

If I want to go fast, I pay for a faster car. If I want to haul more, I buy a bigger truck. When I ship things, I pay by weight.

You make choices, you pay for them.

God knows those seats are narrow. Two broad shouldered guys don't easily fit without bumping elbows......so anyone over 300lbs or so had better get an isle or window seat.

I fly frequently and I've sat next to some pretty big people before and most of the time there was no problem. The guy in the article isn't that big.

I'm all for making fat people buy two seats but i really doubt that guy was causing much of an issue.

eta: although the seats can be pretty darn narrow.

What a bitch.

I fly all the time and if that dude is too fat then half the plane needs to de-board.

Fat guy should lawyer up.

So, a seat completely surrounded by water?

He wasn't actually kicked off. Someone moved seats so he was able to remain on board. Not sure what his case would be.

nothing wrong with this. You either fit or you don't. Buy another seat or find an alternate source of travel. You're fat, loss weight or suffer the consequences.
