Don’t planes have more than one toilet? Couldn’t they have at least used them to pee?

What kind of a dipshite would flush a diaper? I doubt seriously that the dumbass would do it at their house. And frick these people who record everything. What was AA supposed to do in this situation? It’s just a money grab because of muh inconvenience. Rant over.

Probably both operate on the same system - I'd guess the diaper made it to a choke point and managed to clog both.
It would be time to make a decision keep drinking and fill up a ton of bottles or cut yourself off. I know my choice- would probably be a tougher call for the female passengers.

1- AA did the 100% right thing in this situation. As others have pointed out, they were flying over the ocean. What are they supposed to do? I guess we're suppose to manufacture some mock horror/anger at yet another airline misstep but it's just not valid.
2- People (especially Americans) have no idea how great their travel experience is. Think about about it- these passengers went from Phoenix to Hawaii in a matter of a few hours and were fed hot meals, cold drinks and got to watch movies along the way.
100-150 years ago this trip would have been a grueling voyage involving horses, stage coaches, railroads, then a ship across 3,000 miles of ocean. It would have taken three months and half the passengers would have died along the way.

I was wondering this as well. If the first class toilet was still working and they didn't let the coach passengers use it that would be fricked up, but if not it's the inbred who flushed a diaper's fault.

much as I hate American, the retard that stuffed a diaper down the toilet is to blame.
Exactly, they should investigate each a-hole that had a baby on board. Not that it's illegal to be stupid, but there are signs in the bathrooms that clearly show to throw diapers in the trash and not to flush them. This will probably now be added to their preflight demonstration/explanation.

Seems the airline could easily identify the passenger who flushed the diaper!!!

although watching women pee in bags might have been fun

How the frick is this American’s fault?
Unless someone claims the basic economy fare allows poors and undesirables to fly and do trashy shite like this, it doesn’t sound like their fault...

“Yeah take from the rich and give to the poor”
Communist.

Their house is probably a rental and they probably do flush everything down the toilet.

It shouldn't have been difficult to discover which piece of trash was responsible.

Yet another reason why if you fly with an infant or a toddler you’re a fricking a-hole.

Agreed- it’s not the ideal situation but really what is the airline supposed to do?

This isn't their fault. Some idiot flushed a damn diaper.

all the needed was a funnel and an empty bottle. There was obviously no Macgyver on the aircraft

What if you really needed to shite?

God damn white people, I swear.

At American, lavatories must be working properly prior to departure. If an American flight is in the air, and all lavatories become inoperative, the flight will divert to the nearest suitable airport in order for maintenance to rectify the situation. Due to the location of the aircraft, the flight continued to its intended destination.
I can tell you one thing, I'd have REALLY been pissed if they decided to turn the plane around and delay my vacation because of this.

People are so fricking trashy. I was a lifeguard as a youngin and moms would regularly change their kid's diaper and leave the dirty one on the pool deck. This was at a country club, not a public pool.
