2004...book for MBA.
One marketing professor gave a lecture on Amazon's "suggestions algorithm" and said they were pretty brilliant in finding out what customers were interested in. Wish I had bought stock way back then.

No. CAPT C. Long. We were neighbors on Camp Lester family housing and discussing the hot tech sector in the stock market when he told me that he bought a "small" amount of Amazon stock. 1999 seems like a lifetime ago.
