It's a lot like when my little brother went through his foot-fetish phase and he was always borrowing my computer to look up foot porn. Yeah we thought about having an intervention for him but we just couldn't explain to my mother how foot-porn could be a real addiction. She just kept saying "he's not drinking or smoking the foot porn, how could he be addicted?". So in the end we didn't do any dramatic intervention or send him off to a rehab or anything but I still feel like maybe we should have. Anyway he eventually grew up and grew out of it, got a pretty nice job working for the state now. Pay isn't the greatest but the benefits are above average and you can't beat the vacation schedule.

Kill yourself and deny them the satisfaction of killing you first.

The idea of a shooter standing at the front and not having an exit worries me....

Anxiety is a real problem. That is what the Terrorists and murderers want to do in life: put fear into others.

The Terrorists cannot win a real war but murderers have been around for thousands of years. The media does not help matters since everything under the sun is politicized.

Only worry about what you can control. Lightening can kill you. Other motorists can kill you. A shark near the shore can kill you. You can have an airplane crash into your house and kill you. You can die or E Coli or develop cancer and die pretty quick. A Serial Killer could abduct you. You can get shot while walking your dog.

You can worry about anything or do something each day to enjoy life and be grateful. If you have OCD like I do, you can take an SSRI medication. Create a time in your day to worry. about 20 minutes. Then go out and make the life you want to. Being afraid does not help you. It cripples you. The terrorists win. Focus on others needs. Laugh. Laugh. and laugh more at the silliness that pervades this fallen world. Your life eternal is real. This Earth is a stopping point until you get to Heaven.

Exactly. But I would also add that you should avoid any pornography where the main focus is the feet. These films can set you on a path from which you might not recover.


Although you probably will recover, it's usually just a phase.
