From the article

quote:

I’ve heard this theory before, that the mob helped win Illinois for Kennedy in 1960.

We shouldn’t talk about this publicly. Where you from?

Umm Quicy, this is common knowledge

What was going on in Hollywood?

From a friend who used to work in the business area at some production studios, the old adage in Hollywood is "everyone is assumed gay until proven otherwise".

Sounds like he was following in Richard Pryor's footsteps in more ways than just comedy.

I know he went through some tough times and got caught up in the "Hollywood life", but I never read or heard anything that implied he was gay, but if I had to guess. I would think he got caught up in the lifestyle, doing a lot of cocaine and engaged in sex and him having sex with guys was a "in the moment" type thing than him actually being gay.

Did yall know that Whitney Houston was possibly gay? When she was working her way up, this girl who was with Whitney and worked for her was her only "true" friend. She was the only person Whitney trusted, she was the only person who knew the real Whitney Houston... And Whitney Houston didn't have any interest in being in a relationship with a guy. Houston's parents were religious and Whitney thought it was a sin so she hid it.. Her mother hated the girl and I think around the time she was filming the Bodyguard, there was some chatter coming out about her possibly being gay.. And soon after she married Bobby Brown.

The girl thought that Brown was bad for Whitney, so her and Brown didn't get along at all. In summary, it all came down to what Whitney thought was right and wrong.. Gay is a sin and that she was suppose to get married and have a family. She struggled with that and that lead to more drug use. Evidently the girl tried to convince Whitney to divorce Brown because he was abusive, etc.. But Whitney thought that divorce was a sin as well..

Pryor Goes on Rant at Gay Rights Event - Admits to Homosexual Activity

This is pretty interesting article as a whole, but here is his homo stuff.

quote:

I sucked one dick,” he said from the stage, drawing his audience back into a scene from his red-light district childhood. “Back in 1952. Sucked Wilbur Harp’s dick. It was beautiful, but I couldn’t deal with it. Had to leave it alone.” The crowd roared. “It was beautiful because Wilbur has the best booty in the world. Now I’m saying booty to be nice. I’m talking about arse-hole. Wilbur had some good arse-hole. And Wilbur would give it up so good and put his thighs against your waist. That would make you come quick.” With that confession, Pryor became perhaps the first major Hollywood celebrity to talk graphically about his own positive experience of gay sex – and certainly the first to do so in front of tens of thousands of people.
