Seriously, do you have a monoxide leak or are you just missing letters on purpose?

haha, I am not a proofreader and would never be one but I do publish a lot of shite and am considered an expert communicator :) hardntk believe I know but I do routinely get emails commending me for that shite

The issue isn't necessarily the hours worked. It's the I have to do A-L every day within a certain time and I have to bust my arse to finish the time sensitive tasks I'm frayed by the ends of the day. It's the stress.

So you have a stessful job. Gotcha.

Again, if you are due time off then take it.

If you can't complete your task in time and feel you are overworked then go to your boss. Maybe you can't handle the job, better to get fired then kill yourself trying to do something above your skill level.

My bosses realize this. And they have taken steps to correct this as well as I have. But I already know not enough has been done despite my communication to them, I'm changin positions soon and they don't realize how much has to go into each fricking movement to get it processed. I'm going to end up doing two jobs at once because there ain't enough people to be doing the work

I've had friends/family/ tell me to take a long vacation but I can't afford it.

Really sounds like their problem. Or the new persons problem.

Well, I know the new person and like him and he will be sitting 10 feet from me. And do to corporate bullshite, I will be reporting to my new manager but will still be answering no to my old manager. And her boss who organized this is taking maternity leave and I'll be stuck with no one in my camp.

I realize I'm bitching but everything I've been told and passed along says I should be worried and my personal opinion is they're underestimating the problem.

the person they're replacing me with is 25-30 k and two promotions above my level. Which suggests tbeyve been getting me for cheap. Which suggests I should be ok for sticking up for myself I think. Idk. frick everything. I'm tired.

Seriously, you sound like someone who has every answer and just wants to be miserable.

It's like talking to a woman. If you hate your job then quit.

You asked for honest answers.

I have worked at least 50 hours per week for the last 16 years. Over half the weeks, I go in for a few hours on the weekend to catch up on paperwork or do my employees payroll. (Did not add that time to my 50 hr estimate)

I do 12 hours of free medical volunteer work every month on top of those hours.

I still find plenty of time to spend with family and help my aging parents and aging in laws with their needs.

I don't feel overworked at all.

You need to stop comparing yourself to other people who you are "assuming" have it "better" than you do. Quit acting like a middle school girl and roll up your sleeves and get to work with a good attitude.

Men will respect it in you.

Women will be attracted to it in you.

Hope you did not lose too much of your XBOX Live time while you read my post.

If your literary skills are the indication I'd say yes.

40 hours a week? Please. I routinely do 50 at my salaried job, moonlight 6-8 hours a week and then volunteer another 6-10 hours a week 9 months of the year.

That's just life. It's the only way I know. But then again I'm not a millennial.

For nine years I worked a job where we averaged 10 hours a day, six days a week, Sunday off.

No, you're not working too much.

You think working "at least 40 hrs" a week is a lot? I'm usually around 45-50hrs per week.

Straight commission. I eat lunch at my desk pretty much every day. I've never bitched about working too much.

Why do I have the feeling the OP is a millennial?
