An unfortunate twist is if you need to apply for longterm care medicaid, the state considers this as transfer of assets and will penalize you for it, even if it's to a legitimate charity. This includes regular tithing to a church. Keep that in mind if you have elderly relatives who are generous with their money.

Maybe he is reliving his younger years at the strip club. Don't judge.
