You may not be stupid, but your post was, which is a leading indicator

Nobody is forgetting you didn’t pay $30k. Something is up.

I recently got a EOB from my insurance company. It was for a medical bill that my insurance company completely rejected so the EOB says I have to pay the entire amount.
I think it’s fraudulent as my insurance company already paid for the same procedure less my co-pay.
So far, I haven’t gotten a bill from the provider. This was over two months ago. I’m not going to pay it, obviously. However, if I do get a bill from the provider, I’m going to challenge it and then get in touch with the Department of Insurance if they don’t go away.

How should the OP know exactly how much or where to pay without an invoice? he should just mail a $30k check?

Here’s my situation.
I paid a company half up front to install a product in a new home. Paid $15,000 up front with the next $15,000 to come upon completion.
There were several problems with the install. First off they took much longer to begin the job than agreed. Then they failed to make me aware of support elements needed to conclude the install. For example, I needed a certain style of gutter put on the house. I made dozens of phone calls in an effort to find out what I needed to do and where they were in the process. No one would return a phone call
Eventually, I threatened to call the BBB on them. When I did this, I at least got a return call and was made aware of the gutters I needed.
Upon completion of the project, they never let me know it was finished. I only discovered this during an inspection process. It’s been over six months since they completed the project. They left several tools on the job site and I’ve attempted to contact them to let them know.
Again…no one answers and no call backs. I know they’re still in business because I receive periodic spam from them.
Why would they not send me an invoice for the second half of the payment?

Mom and pop? You're an a-hole.
Large business? ...how can you pay a bill you don't have.
Extra shitty to do it to mom and pop. But still shitty either way.
It's this line of thinking that people use to steal from Home Depot.
All of it drives up costs for non-thieves.

I know right? How could he POSSIBLY find out what he needs to know?

As I’ve said, I would ask about it, but to the retards saying just pay it, explain to me how you’d do that.
It’s been a year, the vendor has agency in this situation too

Typical spineless remark I'd expect from you.
He knows who did the work. He has an approximate amount.
Send them a check for 25k and see if he hears from them.
You suck.
