Pretty amazing what I did for this family.
You are a saint, Walter.

For all we know, he could have been appearing on Shark Tank's next episode.

And all that doesn't matter. Many thanks should go out to the people who are stepping up to provide financial support for Mr. Sterling's children and ensuring their college educations are funded, since he is no longer here to be able to do so.

is this a joke?
There has been a GoFundMe set up on behalf of Mr. Stirling for his five children to ensure their lives are not negatively impacted financially due to their father's inability to provide food, clothing, shelter and education (primarily the purpose of the GoFundMe account) any longer.
You have to admire his tenacity and perseverance to continue his vision of selling an outdated technology to make ends meet for him and his family.

I have never said his hands were up. I've said they were spread out At shoulder length which I have shown
His arms aren't "clearly" at shoulder height, which is what I'm assuming you meant. You've proven nothing with your fuzzy picture and bad MS paint job.
Hell, the circle covers an area of about a foot in vertical depth from about mid torso to just below the shoulders AND you still can't even see exactly where his arms are in that. "Clearly"
It's just you posting contrarian shite to stir the pot, like I said, and like you always do.

Sure. You do know that if his arms were down like people said you would see them against his red shirt, don't you? Now who is being contrarian again?.

What does this have to do with you saying he was "spread eagle" and at "shoulder length" being untrue as well? Your picture shows nothing other than all of you are seeing what you want to see.
For all anyone knows he was shrugging or giving a non-committal type gesture. You know, the one where your hands are generally out to the sides. Or he could be doing low jazz hands. Or he could be showing them his palms. Or he could be putting his hands up.
The only thing clear in that picture is that it's of shitty quality.

There is some really dumb people running their dick suckers in this thread. It's kind of hard to believe how dumb some people are.

how old is yours? Mine wakes up like clockwork too. knows when we eat, and when it is time to get in the kennel. but he still sleeps in his kennel with the door shut. I keep trying to keep the door open but all he wants to do is come out and frick with my other dog. until it gets to the point of me having to put him back in and closing the door.
it is annoying the shite out of me. how old before your dog had free roam at night and how long before she had free roam of the whole house?
I know this is a hijack, if you would rather email me about this i believe you should have my email.

do you foresee agencies changing their protocols in these types of situations? I think put hands on your head and drop to your knees appears to be more ideal than having to take suspects down in a wrestling match.
Sure. That's the normal protocol when a person is complying with commands. When they are not and they just stand there not obeying commands at some point you have to take control of them

You and I have very different opinions on what "completely detained" means, but if you don't buy it, in your opinion why did they shoot him?
In my opinipn, from what i saw, the officers are on top pinning the man down. Alton is struggling just trying to breath and get comfortable while he is being pinned down. One officer yells he has a gun as he is able to feel it in his pants. The other officer then pulls it out and shoot Alton as when he hears "gun" he automatically assumed Alton had the gun in his hands and was soon to shoot. So under his pretense, he shot asap in order to save he and his partners lives
Case in plint, this case could have been totally avoided. And it sucks that another man had to die because of misunderstandings.

Your scenario is plausible, but completely falls apart here.
There's about 6 seconds between the first yell and first shot. There are at least 4 seconds between them drawing their weapons and the first shot, which they use to tell Sterling to stop moving one final time.
That's kind of a big aspect you just glossed over.

It's nice to see parents teaching gun safety to kids at an early age.

You are making an unbelievable amount of assumptions. We know the cops called out the gun and the other told him not to move after that. He did not comply and cops shot him, obviously thinking he was struggling for the gun. If he was or wasn't is unclear from the video, but the officers believed he was.

No kidding, Alton could have complied with any of the three non-lethal attempts by officers to subdue him. He didn't.
