Staying at the JW, my friend wanted to get out. Decided to go to a strip club on Bourbon. Within 5 minutes I see a bunch of people running so I started to run. I went down one of the side streets. Saw a few cops there so started to walk. Cop comes up to me and asks whats going on. Some girl starts cursing the cop out about not going to help. Within seconds, all I hear is gunshots start to pop off. I just took off running towards Canal and went back to my room.

So really you didn't just get shot.....you just heard something with a loud noise that sounded like gunfire and raced here to post that you were help up at gunpoint but escaped with your life
