If you have the right conditions, not much beats outdoor grown pot.

Lot of outdoor is being harvested and cured now as we speak on the west coast. I'm excited, smoking in autumn and winter outdoors is my favorite.

it kinda is. Know your PH, pay attention and a controlled climate is a lot better for many reasons.

Because he doesn't realize that stronger weed just means you don't have to smoke as much.

That was just 1/3 of that specific haul, that happens often during the year.

That distillate is cartridge specifically for a vape pen.

But I do dab other extracts.

For example

So y'all use the double ended 1000s? I've been getting recruited for some shite, really been looking hard at LEDs. Hortilux ain't cheap to replace every other or every 3rd run. And that extra heat.

But if you consider how many possible variables there are to initially dial in. Light length being the easiest, ph, nutrient strength/e.c., nutrient ratios at variable growth stages, temps, humidity, co2, dissolved o2 levels if running a recirculating hydro. It's great there are controllers that handle these things, but if you don't know, you don't know. Relatively easy to learn how to replicate, but the understanding of the mechanics of why is a different ball game.

I hate some greenhouse light deprivation shite, but that real outdoor... mmmhmmm. Especially in what I presume to be your area. Lots of prime organic outdoor to be had out that way. Especially the kind that got enough chill late to show some light non genetic color change. I love that faint purplish at the tips of the calyxes.

I love the terpene research of the last couple years. Was shocked 2 weeks ago in vegas to see them labeled on the package.

So you think folks are using UV lighting in the quest to 30%+ thc? Or y'all hitting that on straight genetics?

Thats freedom.

As long as you are willing to take on all the responsibilities from using it....I have no problem with this.

1000w hortilux HPS, also use MH in the 18/6 and just straight HPS for the 12/12. The building we grow in has a great cooling and exhaust system. Room is legit controlled climate and stays the temp that is dialed in. TBH I haven't looked into LEDs in a decent while. I know things have had to of progressed. They were a fortune when I was looking at them, but seemed ideal for grow tents and closets.

my girlfriend is in on a lot of the terpenes research. She said something to me the other day that was so simple, to break it down to layman's (for me) in some ways..
Our sense of scent is our strongest sense in many ways, when you smell different bud, it's like how we judge food..if your nose likes it..good chance that the body will follow, if not..may hit you the wrong way heightening paranoia, or just reacting negatively. Subliminal issues and etc. Its strange lol

its been genetics that I've seen. Recently saw 37% on a known strain grown under the lights I described. Should be an article in Oregon Leaf soon. Would be cool to get in Northwest Leaf magazine.

ETA

All organic soil grow btw, in smart pots. (And I like to use blackstrap molasses to finish off)

Story today ot of New Orleans a felony trial for distribution of one ounce was knocked down to a misdemeanor because most of the jury pool didn't agree that a crime was committed.
