A bathroom door is the least of your worries. At least it may occasionally get cleaned. Have you every used an ATM? How about a ticket machine in a subway? They're the real disease vectors.

You dont eat immediately after uaing an atm or subway ricket machine. You eat after going to the restroom to wash off atm and subway ticket poo.

Bathroom door should be kick to open.

You go to a restaurant and you'd like to wash your hands before you eat only to find you have to grab the nasty door handle to exit. What's the point of washing your hands if you have to grab the filthy handle on the way out? Think of how much it could save on health care cost for the country

agreed

I dont touch a single thing in public restrooms, i dont flush, touch the sink, and kick the door open on the way out (unless it has a fricking door knob). And i am so far from worrying about germs, ever. I just know how fricking filthy other people are

Exactly....who cares if you wind up ingesting 100 other peoples fecal matter in your mouth....my immune system needs the practice.

You'd be surprised by all the crap (pun intended) that gets into your body every single day if you think that's an issue.

What if I'm using the ATM ata cash only restaurant? How about taking public transportation to go to dinner? You don't think that happens regularly?

What about people that sneezed, didn't wash their hands, then opened the door to the restaurant?

Like I said, you have a nifty thing called an immune system.

Yet, you grab a filthy handle, touch things for hours, then touch the most important part of your body.....but you want to wash your hands AFTER that and worry about the handle?

Exactly. This is why I wash my dick in the sink instead of my hands.

Your cell phone has way more germs on it than that door handle bro.

Also when you flush it sends a plume of fecal matter through the air so what's the point?

ETA: Think of an invisible Mt. Vesuvius raining little poop particles all over you.

Your first move should have been crapping at home.

so you have these super clean fricking hands while walking back to your table, but........

What happened when you grab the back of your chair to sit back down? Grab underneath your seat to scoot up to the table (just like dude who shite and didn't wash his hands 1 hour before you). How about when you grab your drink to take a sip? Your drink that your server placed there and she hasn't washed her hands all shift (been handling money and menstruating for 8 hours straight).

The nastiest is when you grab that disgusting bottle of ketchup with your previously ultra clean, germ free hands. That bottle is just crawling with diseases. Squeeze out some ketchup on your fries.....can you feel all that grease and grime caked up on that bottle?!? I highly doubt you eat your burger & fries with a fork. You are straight up swallowing 100 other people's shite.....literally!! You can't escape it bro. You are going to die!!!

Resetting a broken nose is gonna cost more than tamiflu.

Building codes are meant to reduce the possibility of physical harm not increase it.

Just go with swinging saloon style doors. You can push or pull whether entering or exiting.

Now the real problem is those fools that put the TP roll so it is under and not over.

And opening out makes more sense for fire safety reasons. Although restroom doors are not considered egress doors, all egress doors must open out.

What's the difference between the front door opening out and the restroom door opening out?

My high school didn't have doors on the stalls. Those times you couldn't hold it at school you would just cross your fingers and hoped no one walked in on you taking a deuce.

unless you are pushing it open with your shoulder, arent your hands all still touching the same metal plate on the door?
