Someone needs to learn real flag history. Maybe a different flag would be acceptable.
This by what SS will most definitely call a sell out.

Turner absolutely has the right to freedom of speech, but that does not mean there aren't repercussions.
What Turner does not understand is that by flying that flag on the company's property, he is actually speaking for the company without their consent. He is on private property which does not belong to him.
If the company fired him for flying the flag at his home...that would be a different issue.
Turner is the name of the company.
But everything you've said is correct...other than that.

Turner Industries is the name of the company. Did you mean Philip Sims, the guy with the flag on his truck, when you said Turner?

Alabama is a right to work state. They can fire an employee for anything they want so long as it isn't based on race, creed, gender or sexuality.

Nice try comrade, but the first amendment says I can say whatever I want and nobody can do anything about it.
Just like the second amendment gives me the right to wave my AK at strangers on the street. And the third gives me the right to wake up soldiers and kick them out of bed whenever the frick I want.
fricking bill o' rights brah.

Mississippi is the same. "Your services here are no longer needed."
And there's nothing you can do about it.

I wonder what they would do if it were the gay flag ... or that three colored flag the black people are waving around? White rednecks have equal rights too!??! ... don't they?

If all construction workers were fired for waving confederate flags then all construction documents may as well be in Spanish because there would be no white construction workers left. What else are they gunna do, ban camouflage?

Had it been one of those flags we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
Hell, Had these guys done this 6 months ago we wouldn't be talking about it.

Do a social experiment at your workplace and post the results.
