Alabama woman tried to shoot another driver in a road rage-shoots her own husband instead

According to AL.com, 31-year-old Cullman County resident Erica Cole was involved in a dispute with someone at around 6:45 p.m. Saturday on Alabama Highway 69 in Dodge City, Alabama. From there, the fight continued into nearby Bremen. Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry revealed that the altercation ended at a home off County Road 160 in Bremen, according to the Associated Press. At some point, Cole decided to shoot the other person, but missed. Instead of reaching its target, the bullet hit her husband, Nicholas Cole, in the head. He is reportedly in stable condition and is being treated at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's UAB Hospital.
