No more or less horrible than anyone else with a severe allergic reaction.

It's not too big of an article to post
10 minutes later, his hand swelled up like elephantitus and he was bitching about going to the hospital. I gave him some benadryl and Ibuprofen and ragged on him about it. He left a couple minutes later and went to urgent care. From then on, I'd always grab a handful of dirt and throw it at him like it was an antpile.

Problem was to get to the shutoff, you had to dig a big antpile out of the box. He didn't want to do it because of the allergy, but I made him. He quit halfway through, and I had to finish it up. Looked like he got bit 4000 times, and only like 10 on me.
SELMA, Ala. — An Alabama family buried a mother and grandmother Thursday at a double funeral, according to WHNS.
The women died just a day apart, one death under rare and surprising circumstances.
On May 20, Kalyn Rolan was in Selma making funeral arrangements for her mother Roberta Lynn, who died the day before, when she was attacked by fire ants.
”The ants started coming out and getting all over her and she came off the haystack and my son said he grabbed her and put her on the ground, took her clothes off trying to help her to save her but he couldn’t save her,” said Sheila Rolan, the victim’s mother-in-law.
Family members said Kalyn was severely allergic to fire ants and started swelling to the point where she couldn’t breathe.
The 29-year-old leaves behind a husband and two young boys.

There was a guy a few years ago that fell out of a tree stand and broke his back so he couldn't move. Unfortunately, he landed in an ant pile.
He died.
He died.

Holy shite...Sounded like she really needed an epi-pen and a flame thrower..

An adult who is fatally overpowered by ants probably had no business reaching adulthood in the first place. Darwin always collects his dues in the end though.

That's a good question. If you are allergic to certain insects (like bees and fire ants)...you should always carry an epi pen with you.

Friend of mine just moved here to AZ a month or so ago and was telling me how her epipen is somewhere in her moving boxes. She is highly allergic to bees. I've already fussed at her telling her that it does her no good if the epipen isn't with her at all times.
I'll send her the article about the hiker dying from bees....maybe that will knock some sense into her.
