I'll send her the article about the hiker dying from bees....maybe that will knock some sense into her.
Yeah, especially being the time of year it is. I have a shellfish allergy , but not bad enough to require one.. I just drink a bottle od Benadryl and I'm good. If I had it worse then i'd always carry one mainly due to eating out as much as I do.

I should probably carry an epi-pen now. Got stung on the back of my right calf about 15 years ago by a neon orange red wasp. I was at the back outside water faucet of house and walked the 100 yards to go check mail. About halfway there the leg cramped up. A week or so later the sting had festered and I twisted the muscle around to get a better look at it. Popped open a cyst-like area full of gunk that I still have the scar from. Nowadays I squeal like a little girl and start swatting wildly when those lil demons come my way.

He didn't want to do it because of the allergy, but I made him. He quit halfway through, and I had to finish it up. Looked like he got bit 4000 times, and only like 10 on me.

I had a buddy that was really allergic to fire ants. Well one day he busted an exterior PVC pipe at our rental, and I told him to go turn off the main. Problem was to get to the shutoff, you had to dig a big antpile out of the box. He didn't want to do it because of the allergy, but I made him. He quit halfway through, and I had to finish it up. Looked like he got bit 4000 times, and only like 10 on me.
10 minutes later, his hand swelled up like elephantitus and he was bitching about going to the hospital. I gave him some benadryl and Ibuprofen and ragged on him about it. He left a couple minutes later and went to urgent care. From then on, I'd always grab a handful of dirt and throw it at him like it was an antpile.
You really are a dipshit.
I dont fight anymore, but I might would make an exception for somebody like you. Your eyes better focus quickly, because the hand checking is going to have be done very quickly and at very close proximity.

Never denied that
He was the one who broke the pipe, so IMHO, he should've been the one to shut off the water. I didn't think he was being truthful about the ant allergy anyway. I thought he was just being a bitch and didn't want to dig in the ants. It's not like I made him leave urgent care to fix the pipe

There was a guy a few years ago that fell out of a tree stand and broke his back so he couldn't move. Unfortunately, he landed in an ant pile.
He died.
If you go out like this, your family just has to come to grips with the fact that God hated you.

I was picturing that bad arse Macguyver episode. Disappointing read to find out just an allergic reaction.

Doug Stanhope has a great bit about a news article on a lady in a nursing home who was killed by ants.
How do you break that to the family?
"Kids, Jesus loved Nana soooo much that he sent an army of fire ants to chew through the drywall and take her to heaven."
