Airspace around DC closed

No word yet if it’s Covid in the ATC building or some kind of terror threat. Or an effort to keep visitors from leaving/entering the area.

This happened in Dallas last week. In that case it was a Covid exposure in ATC and it took an hour or two to get a relief team in there.

ETA Looks like it’s already clearing up.

Flight aware currently shows a bunch of planes in that area. This thread is fake news.

Shutting down Air Traffic in a major metro even for an hour because of an exposure is overkill. That’s some Branch Covidian/Karen level crazy.
