I don't remember which one it was but one of the DC airports has awesome food choices. There were literally restaurants everywhere, with shite like Five Guys and other legit places.

Which is the bigger airport in DC? Reagan or Dulles? The one I'm talking about is the bigger one I'm assuming.

far and away Kansas City.

^ This is easily the worst airport for a major city in the US.

The worst anywhere in the US (well, not literally, but I've flown from 90 different US airports so it's a pretty good sample) for amenities is Binghamton, NY. All they had for food was a sandwich cart that had a banner saying "Subway coming soon".

Its Dulles

anyone saying Dulles has meage anything hasn't flow in or out of there in the last few years.

They just added a pretty nice rail system for the terminals and have basically phased out those dumbass buses unless you fly in international.

The entire airport is weird. You do get through security really fast though and they don't have TSA

So what do they have instead of TSA?

If getting through security is big on your list, get TSA Pre-Check. I had to go through regular security the other day at IAH and I wanted to shoot myself in the fricking face. I can't believe people really subject themselves to that kind of scrutiny.

Lake Charles Regional has a subway. What else would you need?

Not really the subject of the thread. ATL has more amenities than almost any other airport.

Not to mention that there's a Sky Club in all seven concourses now.

Landed there once instead of Leipzig.

Didn't get to see the main terminal, but was cool because it looked like a Ghost Town on the other end of the airfield since the USAF closed up shop.

Smallest I've been in is Lacrosse, WI. One restaruant with a bar, one gift shop. Three gates with a max size DC-9/MD-83/88/90.

If you have time, go to Terminal F. Newer, nicer, more food options.

Just flew into Kansas City this week for the first time. I fully support this vote. It is abysmal, particularly considering how many areas it serves. I am in Topeka right now and Kansas City is the closest airport, at an hour and a half away. Other people in the rental car line with me were traveling all over this general blob of an area in the middle of the country. Omaha even. It services an enormous area and still sucks. I know now why they call these "flyover states"...there are no GD airports to fly in and out of!

I actually wrote something for a friend coming in a while back that would be useful to you. If you give an email address I can send it your way.
