I live in Boston. Find a place to park your house. You both lose.

Ok I admit I laughed.

I said I lived there not that I am from there. I have nightmares that one day someone will say they can tell I live in Boston by my accent.

How long have you been in Boston? My wife is moving there for a year. We are looking for things to do during the year so any suggestions would be great.

I moved out here last June, so not even a year. But it's a great city and there is a lot to do (assuming you like to eat and drink, although there's more than that). Give me an idea of the kind of stuff y'all enjoy doing I'll be happy to provide my two cents.

Do you know where y'all will be living? If not I can give some suggestions in that area as well.

Has CWA (Central Wisconsin) been mentioned yet?

It's one of the worst airports I've ever been to, and I get the joy of flying in/out of it on a regular basis. There's only like 4 gates and none of the airlines have actual employees working the check-in counters, they're all contractors and switch back and forth between the different airlines. On top of that, if you have an early flight and don't get there at least an hour before departure, you run the risk of there being no one at the counter and you can't check your bag. That's because the same people that work the counter also help to load the bags on the plane.

As far as "amenities", there's one restuarant stand and a gift store. There's also a "business lounge" that consists of a counter along the wall and a chair.

You mustn't fly very much, BTR isn't that bad of an airport. In my experience, they're very efficient and the airline employees are knowlegable and helpful.

It's a helluva lot better than LGA, that's a fact. LaGuardia is the hardest airport on the face of the planet to get to/from; if you're ever running late and think you might just barely make it, don't even attempt it because it ain't happening.

We visited a couple of times and enjoyed the North End. We are getting a place at Longfellow for her. I am staying in New York for the year because of work. She is only going to be there for a year fellowship. We are open to anything. Mid-30s and no kids. I will probably be up there 3 weekends a month and she will come back to NYC 1 weekend a month.

Been lately? They're revamping the terminals.

Still not much being offered food-wise. Airport is looking a lot better now than a year ago, though.

there's one terminal at MSP that they remodeled to make it all hip and modern. instead they just made it so more people want to kill each other while standing in it. i get anxious just thinking about it. can't even describe it right now without hives.

Not sure which terminal you're talking about but I flew through MSP the other day and I kinda liked it. There was an area right near my gate that had a little restaurant with iPads and credit card readers on every table and at every spot at the bar to place your order, no waiting for a waitress or any of that. It was surprisingly good (for terminal food) and I could see my gate from where I was sitting so I knew when they started boarding and whatnot.

I'd rather fly through MSP than ORD or DTW.
