I hopped a C-130 from Japan to California once. Sore as hell afterwards.

Been to Fallon a couple times. Picked up some sweet patches there. Last time I went I rented a car and drove to Reno for a weekend. Good times.

Hated doing the 8mm video recorder mods on the A+. Took me and a 3 man crew an entire 4 day weekend to do 6 jets. The ALR-67 TD's sucked too.

I did that once as part of a lead and trail crew but we stopped at Hawaii and Wake Island. Also flew to Guam in full 782 gear, that sucked.

Haven't been lucky enough to hop the far east, but I was able to hop from Scotland, to Iceland, to St Johns, Canada to Little Rock. Best ride on a 130 that I've had.

UDP?

I flew trail to Norway and back in a 130 and trail to Saudi in '90.

I learned as a boot to get on top of a palett near the heaters as soon as possible!

I know all about those... I was the guy that had to roll those cells back for you to get access.

To this day I try to explain how tiny the entry port was to get into that space. I'm 6', probably 210lb at that time and the first time I met dock chief to show me how to gain access to pc fittings O looked him dead in the eye and said there was no f-ing way a human being could fit through that hole. LOL

I'm about 6'3 and 215 and there are most certainly some spots in the Herk that I don't care to get into, but those cells are easy.

We did so many at Little Rock that we could have the cell rolled back from start to finish in 4 hrs.

Worked on the flightline at Whiteman AFB, MO, as the supply liaison for a B-2 maintenance outfit.
