Thus far I've worked:
C-130E/H/J
AC-130H and W
CV-22
HH-60
A-10
F-16

130s as a whole are my favorites, but the AC-130W is the best of the bunch

My crj-900 just had some maintenance issues here in atlanta. Can you get me out of here before the thunderstorms roll in?

Not that I'm going to help, but what kind of issues?

like they tell the customers. I wish they did so we could ask people like you and have you give us an informed opinion on how long it would take. Trust me i'd love this thread on the travel board with all the maintenance issues people have while flying. You'd probably have a field day if you enjoy this stuff. I'll see if i can find out from the pilot at the end what the issue was

Eta: We just had a weight and balance issue, there were too few people up front so they brought the four people from the last row up to first class

F/a-18 A/B/C/D/E/F

Avionics, also was in QA for about 2 years. Probably liked working on the older Charlie's the most.

I started out on skids working UH-1/AH-1 but went fixed wing and worked with F-18 A/C/D avionics and then went on to the F-35 program.

ETA: Skids are still my favorite.

AV-8B. Avionics.

They were a pain in the arse. Had to take the entire wing assembly off to change the engine.....300+ man hours each engine change. But man I still love the smell of JP5!

Hated working in the fuel pits when I was a boot. And cleaning the hangars with those freakin' drip pans full of fuel and hydraulic fluid.

Hated being a nug. I know someone always had it worse, but we were one of the last groups that were treated like shite. Like 0500 Ataf, & Fuel Samples and staying until 10-11 pm if you didn't have plane captian.

Dual Cool Lcpl and Sgt CDQAR were best. Got out as Staff.

Not nice

I was at MALS-39 then MALS-31. When 6432/6433 merged into one all encompassing MOS, I got PCS orders to the east coast to work fixed wing.

FOD walks and keying the KY-58's were what I always dreaded.
