The Japanese ambassador was supposed to present an ultimatum to the Secretary of state, at which time state of war would have existed. But the embassy had trouble decoding the message and didn't finish until after the attack was underway

A bunch of the ones who are upset about the uniforms probably think that the Doolittle raid was Hiroshima/Nagasaki

I’m 100% for this, but the modern Jap gotta be wondering “wtf, I thought we made up” after the last couple months.

Roger Sterling would be beaming with pride though.

I mean, we have allies that sail alongside a lot of US Navy ships named after battles that they were defeated in.

Guarantee it. I remember when we walked out of the theater after the movie Pearl Harbor, you could overhear people saying they didn’t realize we dropped the A-Bombs so fast on Tokyo after Pearl Harbor.

Remember it vividly because my dad went on a kids these days rant on the way home.

As a Navy man, I'm insulted that the Air Force is claiming all the credit for this. The plan was developed by a submarine captain and the planes were delivered to their launching points by the Navy. The Army Air Corps doesn't make it to Tokyo without us.

From a purely technical point… Shouldn’t the Army have that on their uniforms instead of the Air Force.

It’s so strange how these bleeding hearts couldn’t care less about what Japan did during the war because they did it to a bunch of Chinese people. It all comes down to who did you massacre.

This is another example of that. Make Patton jerseys for Army and no one cares because they rolled over Nazis. People are so mindless and blindly think what people tell them to.
