This is a no-win game. Either the AI becomes self aware and wipes us out or we keep going down the current path and head into Idiocracy within just another generation or two. No one in 40 years will have a fricking clue what history really was.
Hell, now that I think about it, we probably don't either. But it will be way goofier with AI.
