Ah, Silent Spring, the book that killed tens of millions, mostly under 5.

Africanized bees: Are more defensive and may respond in greater numbers when disturbed. May swarm more frequently and nest in a wider variety of locations, including utility boxes, debris piles and underground cavities. May pursue perceived threats farther than European honeybees, up to a mile in some cases.

Exactly. I thought this and quick sand were much bigger issues when I was a kid.

We have them at my buddies camp in plaquemine . Those bastards came out of nowhere and stung me 6 times in the forehead and eyes area and on my legs . I was cutting the grass and had to go fill speed on mower about 100 yards away to stop them from stinging me . They are every bit of a nuisance and wasps are had me with a very bad headache and nausea after the attack.

frickers must be close to 50 years old. I’ve been told to fear them most of my life.

I am a beekeeper and I trap my bees from the wild. I swear they are already Africanized. They are some mean wenches. I see these videos of these people whispering to their bees and working them in short sleeves. I swear mine would kill me if I tried that.
