The news this morning said his mom will probably get more time than him, for helping him flee to Mexico.
They also said if he violates his terms of early release that he could get at least 10 years slapped down on him.

that's actually sort of fake news, and is reported this way every time this comes up, the doc didn't make this statement in his defense, he made it prior to sentencing and has repeatedly regretted saying it, but the kid had already been convicted when the statement was made
