I was going to go a little TulaneLSU on you baws (mainly to roast commissioner TRC/ex-officio commissioner RT ) but Corny's Cameo slots sold out in under 10 hours.

It's been hilarious following his adventures from buying a new iPhone just so he could do them to his announcement they were on sale on this weekend's Drive Thru.

The flippity dippity shite needs to wrap up soon and get u/l ASAFP...I would like to watch it yet tonight.

If it weren't already crystal clear, AEW is officially TNA 2.0

No longer any doubt about it

TNA would've killed to have the kind of financial backing AEW has.

AEW is also far more profitable than TNA given that people actually buy their PPVs.

That having been said, AEW's roster is really bad. Signing 62 year old Sting, 49 year old Big Show, and 47 year old Christian just isn't the way forward.

Tony Khan needs to throw money at NXT stars.

2 thoughts on Christian.

1) AEW oversold the hell out of who it would be.

2) How does WWE let him get away after the Rumble?

There’s a lot of retreads but I will say there’s a lot of “Outsiders” amongst the roster. I think the plan is to get guys like Sting and Christian to attract the casual fans because they know they have the die hards.

I agree that some of those signings look bad, but I think they're being used (mostly) the right way. None of them are in the title hunt right now. They seem to be building that at least around the young future talent while relying on older name talent for publicity.

Dave Metzler and WON were bashing the rumble because it had "too many old guys in it" and they named Chrisitan ad an example

Can't wait to see them do a total 180 tomorrow because WON is like state run media for AEW. 100% praise all the time.

I really liked Sting in WCW, he was my favorite wrestler...but his run in AEW has been stupid. All he does is come out and talk and then point his bat... he is a 61 year old who needs to hang it up.

Christian looked fine in the rumble last month but if he ever wanted to be in the WWE HOF it's not happening now.

AEW is a brand that caters to smarks and no one else. I couldn't imagine imagine bunch of casual viewers sitting down to watch this shite. A brass ring? Really? There is a reason Vince keeps wrestlers in check when it comes to creative freedom. Look at Miro for example who left WWE for "more creative freedom"... his AEW run has been nothing short of sad.

Sting is a big name but he is old. If they want to create new wrestling fans they can't rely on old guys. Most of the people who grew up watching Sting are in their 30s and 40s now.

Christian is not a top tier name to attract casuals.

Let's be real, the only established names that could truly make an impact these days would be Brock, Roman, Cena, and The Rock.
