I wish we would just ignore these people and let them do what they want. This kind of story is exactly what they're looking for. I think alot of these people just trans up for the attention.

I don't believe that was the point that the OMV Commissioner was making. This person had previously obtained a driver's license as a male and was now trying to get one as a female. A doctor's order showing a gender reassignment is required. Why is that hard for people to understand?
Why is hard for you to understand that that's not the case at all? The person in the article was NOT trying to get them to change the listed sex on her license. She didn't care about that. She just wanted to take her photo the way she dresses and represents herself on a daily basis. What if she doesn't want or else can't afford surgery or hormone therapy? Do you really think it's reasonable to force her to undergo expensive and possibly risky medical procedures that she either doesn't want, doesn't need, or can't afford just to be allowed to take a picture with long hair and makeup that she already wears everyday?

Hmm a light in the loafers old baw I see.
Look I could really care less what she identifies as. First off it did say she didn't want to change the M to an F......why she didn't want to I don't know and don't care...I just know for 100% certainty she was quoted as saying that she didn't want to. So by that she is representing herself as a man......now to go in with tits, long blond hair, makeup, and most likely her attitude she is clearly taking the pic as a woman. To say this is the same as a woman with short hair taking a picture with the short hair is real dumb baw...real dumb.
The fact of the matter is that she identifies as a woman correct. Yet wanted her license to retain the M according to her (no matter how easy it could be to change it....and yes I agree it should be easier to change it). That is clear misrepresentation.
Now the easy solution here is to give the trans genders a separate grouping or let them have an M and an F. However to clearly present yourself as a woman and to have your license say "M" is stupid.....I mean what the hell is the whole point of the damn gender change?

So sorry you're having to deal with these unfair issues while you go through this difficult transitional period.
God bless.
God bless.

Okay, so you think it's fine for a woman to dress in clothes that traditionally have been considered men's clothes, but not the reverse. Got it. That's stupid, but whatever.
No, you see, you're clearly just making shite up. I get it if you just hate queers and stuff cuz that's how your daddy raised you or whatever, but she never said and the article never claims that she wouldn't change it no matter how easy it was.
Well then, maybe you should advocate for that instead of making shite up and pretending you don't know how to read in order to bash some transgendered person that never did anything to you.

From the article:

“I don’t plan on getting my gender changed or my sex changed on my ID.
I don't know what else to tell you baw.

I couldn't play dress up and wear a clown costume to take my DMV pic. Why should this guy be able to?

I'd be glad to as soon as you transgender folk start advocating for my causes too.
I don't give a shite what you do are who you claim you are or want to be....but I surely ain't going to advocate for solutions for you baw.

Very good point....maybe I'll go ahead and wear a Scream mask for my next one.
Although this does bring up a valid point....say this old boy does get his way and gets his pic the way he wants it on his ID. Then one day he decides to identify as a man and dresses up like a man and kills another man. Then continues his life as a woman.....his license, as legally issued by the govt, is now an instrument that his helping him evade capture for his crime.
Very interesting.

Why do we even put the gender on the license anyway? Just get rid of the box and then there's nothing to whine about.

There are probably a shitload more boxes of worms that we open going that route that I can't even thing about right now.
However, your point is well taken especially in this liberal era we live in.

I'm just waiting for trolls to get on this thread. Seemed like yesterday there was a TON of people that know this guy and support him getting an ID.
