I can tell you this… he never stood a chance in life. He was raised in an f’d up home. We actually thought he was going to be the one to break the chain but nope , just sucked right in to the same life as everyone around him.
And CPS should be ashamed of themselves for not taking those kids.

If CPS takes them and there is not a family member who can take them in what do they do with them if they don't have a foster home available?

Put them in a state facility until a family becomes available. If a family ever does become available, there’s a huge shortage of foster parents right now.

Not so sure about that. Collis Temple, BR’s favorite slumlord, owns several of these homes for foster kids.

I might be absolutely wrong, but I am not sure if they have any type of care facilities for children in Louisiana or if there is, I think its a bunch of bullshite red tape involved and they don't just remove a child and bring them to a child care facility.
I THINK if its a really bad situation and they have to instantly remove a child or children and they don't have anywhere to go, they are first brought to the hospital where they are evaluated, etc. While that is going on, I am sure they move them up on the list to be placed in foster homes, but they will not have any type of structured home life. They will all likely be separated.

You are wrong. DCFS has homes for children with nowhere to go or place them.
