Drop all the emergency road coverage

This is important according to Clark Howard!

Calling the insurance provider without filing a claim could end up costing you

quote:

C.L.U.E stands for comprehensive loss underwriting exchange,”
it decides what you’re going to pay for homeowners and auto insurance

the size of the claim you file doesn’t matter

Howard said another common item on C.L.U.E reports is roadside assistance.
Insurers who offer the service often times treat it as an at-fault claim and it ends up on your clue report as well,

One free copy of your C.L.U.E each year is available on LexisNexis.com.

Paying for AAA every year is far cheaper than having a claim against your CLUE Report.

jump from $271/month for me and wife to $935/month for all three of us?

Wife and I pay $100 a month for her van. $935 seems crazy.

I was 18. What does that have to do with anything?

How many cars do you own?

When you have teenage drivers, it's always a good idea to have one less car than driver and have the teenager rated for occasional use.

I'd be surprised if the difference was that much more. Once you pull the trigger on "teen driver in the house" it's been pulled LOL

Didn't do shite for me. State Farm just kept jacking up the rates every year to match my age discount.
