I think they felt like kinda had to fire him. He hosts a show about FOOD, on a network dedicated to FOOD. Probably not a person you want making fun of fat people, since they most likely make-up 75% of their audience.
But, I still think it's funny. Richman used to be fat, himself (and it's a wonder how he still isn't).

I love Adam Richman. I will make sure to continue to support him
I am tired of these fat girls who are proud to be fat and attack anyone who tries to lose weight as "weight discrimination"
frick them

I really enjoyed those Man vs. Food shows. However, when your a celebrity like Richman you can't get in twitter fights like that.

Is any source reporting that his new show was cancelled? I read a couple of other sources that only state it was pulled from the schedule.
An article in the Washington Post said this:
Sounds like a typical reactionary move until this all blows over. Dog the Bounty Hunter was put on hiatus for a few months when an audio tape was leaked with Dog using the n-word a few times. Then the show returned for a few more seasons. Paula Deen is coming back. The Duck Dynasty controversy didn't last long. I'm sure we'll see Richman in the spring, if not earlier.

Travel Channel would not confirm that schedule change was related to what happened. “Travel Channel is postponing the July 2 series premiere of ‘Man Finds Food,’” a spokesperson said in a statement.

No need to wonder. He was thinspired.

Aw, frick. I thought he was on the Food Network. Oh well; it's still a show about gorging yourself with ungodly amounts of food. That's the equivalent of porn for fat people.

Fat people need to eat shite and fricking die.
Richland is right. Fat people are not human. They're animals.

Right?
Some of these famous people must never use the internet, so they are shocked when they read stuff from internet bullies.

You're correct. It was postponed, not cancelled.

Some people have amazingly thin skin. Becoming famous doesn't fix that.

The Baby Boomers started the PC culture, the Gen X'ers enforced it, and the Millennials were raised not to know anything else.

This would be my downfall too. I'n too quick to jump stupid on the internet over smaller issues I would let go IRL.
I get it's just the Internets, but some times I have a problem putting my filter on, and remembering this isn't really that anonymous.
