You have to scroll down to see the map. A lot of SW LA is about half a degree cooler. Most of the rest is less than half a degree warmer. (All temps in C.)

I think there is climate change and that it is man made. I am also glad it is affecting us less than many places in the country.

Anybody know why?

ETA: Here is the map.

Couldn't get scale to come through. Extreme left is minus 1 C. Extreme right is plus 3 C. Half degree increments.

This obviously means that LNG is perfect for combating global warming

That actually makes some kind of sense. But how does it explain interior Mississippi and Alabama?

Looks like there's spotty blue across the south. My guess would be land use changes - forest regrowth.

ETA: if there's also been increased precipitation, then there's your answer.

I always left the door open when I was a kid and my mom told me that I was air conditioning the neighborhood. I thought she was full of shite but guess not.

Man made global warming/climate change is a hoax

The earth is entering into a cooling period (grand solar minimum)

Sure, man. The question is, why is it cooling here first?

I think the climate changes naturally and that some small percentage of it might be man made. I'm also not willing to live in a pre-industrialized society. I have nothing against alternative energy sources either.

Maybe Leonardo and Al need to circle the globe 7 more times in private jets telling us to reduce our carbon footprint though.
