Another one that bothers me, and I've posted about it many times before, is elevator chat for no reason. Just because we ride together for 30 seconds doesn't mean that you need to make the "Is it Friday yet?/Almost Friday./Hot weather today./etc." comment.
That one doesn't piss me off really, it's just kinda annoying.

This sounds terrible but literally every conversation I have with my grandmother is torture. She is in very good health and is very sharp but she's the worst story teller ever. Doesn't have to be a story. She just has to give so much background and make you understand who everyone involved is, even though you have no idea who she is talking about. So after 10-15 minutes of talking, I'm like, "so what you are telling me is, some guy I don't know is in the hospital?"

Hmmm..6 and 3 have the same difference as 11 and 8. I can think of different scenario where 'same difference" is actually correct.

No, because it's out of place. But I have thought about that though...IMO it almost has to be intentional.
