Looks very similar to mine. She's almost 8 now. Great dogs. They need a job though. Mine's job is to scare away the mailman.

A neighbor has one, his second. This one is big and runs. Like runs their acres, up through our woods and front yard across the street to the small cemetery, along the fence line and back to his house. Dog runs it at least twice a day. and never slows down.

First time I saw the dog grown up, I wondered if we had a panther because it ran more like a greyhound than any of the neighborhood hounds and mixes.

The guy told me he expects it to look similar to this one as an adult

My son took one look at it and said, "Never mind - I want to name him Chaos"

OK so my son is torn between two names, Chaos and Maverick. I told him there’s only one place to go to decide: the OT. So what do you baws think, Chaos or Maverick?

My dog, Oscar, is a border collie-corgi mix. Some call them borgis.

Got him from my brother's dog's litter.

He also has one blue eye, one Brown.

Best dog I've ever owned.

Don't pay breeders. Get you a good mutt.

Did your brother breed his dog, or does he just let it run loose irresponsiblely? Did he screen the people he gave his problems to? These are the dogs that end up in pounds, not the pure bread dogs.

Just get one from a kill shelter. They'll all last 10 good years. After that you're paying for medicine and bills

I’ve actually rescued two dogs over the past 5 years, a husky and a mutt. The husky I ended up giving away, as I didn’t have a fenced yard at the time and I couldn’t keep up with her. I still have the mutt. However I’ve always wanted a blue Merle Aussie and they are near impossible to find at a shelter or rescue, so in this case I had to turn to a breeder.

I'm confused, why all the down votes in this thread? Because it's not a rescue?

You probably shouldn't be buying a dog if you have to put it on layaway

Chaos is a perfect name. Keep him busy or they will destroy your shite. Mine heard my alarm go off this morning and took off and ran straight into his kennel. He only does that when he's done something wrong. Walk into the living room and see one of my hats torn apart. He took it out my suit case from over the weekend and shredded it. Also they shred a lot so be prepared for that. Very lovable dogs but sometimes too smart for their own good.
