I probably should blame myself for going on threads but I couldn’t stop this painfully dumb post by an Aggie law student.
I’m sure a senior military college is happy to have a student that is rooting against the US in the war.

sadly A&M is just as liberal as the rest these days. i'm proud of what my school once stood for, but i'm not proud of what it has become.

You can hope the USA wins because you have a lot invested in this country, but also acknowledge that we aren’t the good guys here.

Don’t get your panties in a wad. I would have posted had it been any sec school. A&M is a little more relevant being the sec school with the largest military subculture.

The day Europe wanted an oil Navy over a coal Navy around World War I, the main characters, Standard Oil for the USA and British Petroleum for the UK, forever changed who the bad and good guys were in the Middle East. Europe setting up Israel (the one country without oil or a pipeline) after World War II probably only made it worse.
Ideology is what gets folks sent in to die by both sides but at least be honest, oil and money is the only reason the global powers are there.

Are you sure?
Check how many SEC schools are rooted in the Morrill Act that established the A&M system in Merica. Transy was a highly respected private school that got split to create UK (originally an all male A&M) in the grounds of the Henry Clay Estate. Same can be said for other SEC schools in their earliest years.

She gets her source from a retired general talking head. Meanwhile, calculate the real losses (eliminate friendly fire and aircraft we destroyed on the ground) and I would say Iran’s super duper heat detection isn’t helping that much.
I’ve seen more blackhawks destroyed in a night of training that the twinge mentions. Hell, my son has been on more than 2 destroyed in training.
